Interactive Design and Development Division of KempGoldberg
Hires Boston-Based Interactive Professionals
PORTLAND, Maine -- Sept. 26, 2007 -- KG Next, the Web and interactive design and development division of KempGoldberg, a Portland, Maine-based strategic marketing and communications firm, today announced it has opened an office in Boston, Mass. The KG Next Boston office, located at 580 Harrison Avenue in Boston's vibrant South End, provides a base for the agency to expand its presence in Greater Boston and the Northeast to augment its national clientele. In addition, the new office will help the company attract interactive, design and marketing talent to better service its clients.
"Boston's central location and proximity to both world-class clients and talent make it an ideal place for us to do business," said Dan Ventura, managing partner of KG Next and a principal at KempGoldberg. "This move is both strategic and, frankly, very exciting for us -- one that accelerates the great work our clients have come to expect."
The company also announced that Coryndon Luxmoore has joined KG Next as design lead in Boston. Luxmoore will grow and manage the KG Next design and interactive team in Boston and expand its client base in the region. With 12 years of experience in visual, business and interactive design, user requirements facilitation and client management, Luxmoore has contributed to the design and architecture of major projects for clients including CVS.com, Health Dialog, L.L. Bean, NYISO, Staples, BankBoston, Nortel Networks and others. Prior to KG Next, Luxmoore worked for Dakasa, Sapient Corporation, THINK New Ideas and American Tourister.
In addition, Andy Hamm, an interactive art director who joined KempGoldberg in Portland in 2006, has relocated to the Boston office. Hamm has more than 10 years of experience in interactive design, Flash development and information architecture.
"Coryndon is a terrific addition to our agency's design and interactive teams, and is well-suited to lead this effort -- he and Andy are a perfect fit with the mission of the new location," added Ventura.
